RH Evo C5 Part 2- Better pics and mounting instructions

Sorry I accidentally deleted the last thread. I meant to delete the stupid one about me getting married... Anyhow, I wanted to post some special instructions on the RH Evo C5s if you are thinking about getting them.

As you can see, there are three components:
1. Threaded tower
2. Decorative aluminum cap with holes
3. Screw-on center cap

The tower itself screws onto the wheel. the problem is that the rear wheels' factory dustcap sticks out too far, thus making it impossible to mount the tower completely flush (this causes the aluminum cap to stick out too far).

You must take a dremmel to the inside portion of the tower and completely grind away all of the edge. Once you get it rounded off, you are good to go!

Which ones? The 18" Maxxims? The 19" ADRs? or the stock 17"s?

Maxxims: not yet
ADRs: gone
stock: keeping

My neighbor offered me $500 for the Maxxims, but I have the distinct feeling he is going to flake. Those have been remachined and repainted and I won't guarantee anything on them. They look nice, although the clearcoat is fading in some places- an easy fix. I have the paint and clearcoat we used, so I would throw those in and you could finish them up yourselves if need be.

I'll see what my neighbor says and I'll let you know. Oh, BTW- I know $500 is too much for those, but he actually offered me $600 and I said that was too high..... I'd let them go for best offer though if he flakes.

I paid $20 for it. It's a Polaroid Digital PhotoMax Fun Flash. A big piece of crap, but the best $20 I ever spent..... Yes, I know I need a new one.

I was having no trouble with the back. That is ALL the way up on the GCs. It looks weird when you put it down and the wheel rubs like crazy.

The front- I was able to squeeze an extra 1/4 inch out of the GCs....

Thanks for the compliments!

I just used the lugs that cobymoby sent me. They are a small 17mm. I didn't use locks. I park in a garage both at work and at home and I don't go out.........ever.

And I can't see how ANY locks would fit on those. There's no room!

You will understand it when you take off your rear wheels and see the dustcap.

The C5s require relatively tiny lugs. I THINK that they might not work. But you will have to see when you get them.

He's a flake. When do you want to see them? I left a note on his door last night basically saying he has until Saturday (one week).

Also, azhelipilot is going to remachine (again) the face of them so they are shinier. If you want to look at them before that, let me know. I live at 32nd St. and Greewnay and weekends are great for me if you want to swing by. I am probably going to sell them for $400........pending my neighbor flakes and that a bidding frenzy doesn't start .......

My front coils are all the way down and the rears are all the way up.

Did you have a chance to mail out that replacement yet?
