I first noticed this a couple of days ago when I was in the country. The temperature was about 24 C. Once I started the car I keep hearing a creak, not a rattle, but a creak ever 45 second or so around the vicinity of the bottom left of the windshield. I notice it today it was cold this morning. It's seem to go away once the car cabin has warmed up... Any Ideas P.S the 2K GLE has 2500 mph on it.

These cars seem to develop so many creaks and rattles, especially in the cold weather, you'd think we were driving in a freakin' haunted house or something! Welcome to Maxima ownership!

Seriously, there are various posts from people about how they tracked down and fixed certain rattles. One thing is pretty true though, the dealer usually does NOT find and fix most of these when you bring the car back, you must be your own detective.

True true, but try the dealer first, if U pop any panal yourself and then don't fix it, the dealer would say out of warranty b/c U popped the panal. the only thing I've stuck something under is the rear deck Long long time ago. I got a rattle comeing from behind the dash, both front doors, rear deck, something in the glove box soulds like its knocking against it, but the box is empty. Boy just annoying little things, Just invest in Ear Plugs and Learn to live with it I guess
