ADDCO rear anti-sway bars -- $115 SHIPPED!

I've got a whole heap of ADDCO rear anti-sway bars on hand with more on the way. These fit all 1995-2003 Maximas. These are the gold-tone, zinc chromate plated bars. Bullit-proof against corrosion and very paintable, any color you like.

$115 while supplies last, shipped by ground anywhere in the US. If you want it shipped more quickly, or sent to Alaska or Hawaii, or if you're a Canadian customer, I will credit $15 shipping towards those costs.

Last sale at this price went great, but this is the last time at this price, ADDCO is raising their prices. Call 800.795.1513 to order and talk to a real live person, 8-5MST, M-F.

...I have H&R's, and I was thinking about going for the FSTB/RSB combo eventually, is the RSB the better/more noticable of the two? Once you have aftermarket springs how much difference does it really make? And does it have any negative effect on ride quality?

I might jump on this one...

if there might be someone handy with jack stands, knowledge, etc. in the Houston area who could give a guy a hand putting it on.

Been hearing great things about these, haven't gotten on the bandwagon yet due to installation hesitation...

Is there a "how to" on this anywhere?

There are a few, I know at least one in the stickies in 5th gen forum, and the kit comes with instructions. But I remember there being some special spacing recommendation to avoid a knocking sound or some spacial conflict with existing components, anyone care to elaborate on that???

Yea i just got it, 115 shipped is the best i've seen for it. Anyone who's installed it themselves, How long did it take? What kind of tools did you need, and how difficult was it? Thanks

Cattman is a pretty reputable retailer, you should feel comfortable using a credit card or money order with him.

it's a MUST HAVE MOD!!!!
i just got the addco from greg at custommax....took it to my favorite mechanic ( I didn't want to have to worry about strange noises if I did it myself)

I was charged for one hour of labor....and the difference with the rsb is frigging magical, lovely, amazing, priceless, wonderful, great, etc. etc

it's one of those mods that is well worth any amount that has to be paid to have one

BUT if you have lowered your car....you will have to change your driving habits... slow down for speed bumps cause it's gonna scrape.... and driving from a higher section of road onto a lower section of road will also make it scrape (I can no longer "peel" out of parking lots...it's a loss i won't miss)

if you were gonna buy something else with the 115 sittin in your wallet DON'T

go buy the dang rsb instead......

this has been a public service annoucement brought to you by
tig ole bitties and the cat's meow

What actually scrapes? Do you mean it scrapes just because it sits under the rear axle?

when i go over a speed bump too fast the rsb scrapes the speedbump

which is why they put the speed bumps there....to tell my as$ to slow down!!!!!

i have no problems with my rsb at all (which is the main reason i paid someone to put it on)

no other sound effects when driving on "flat" terrian

I love my rsb

How many people with RSB notice a negative difference in ride? Or is it just a positive difference in handling???

ms.thicknes, I still dont get how you are scraping. I must be thick in the headed, but the bar looks like it has a lot of clearance from the ground! are you saying the bar is hitting the ground, or some part of the car?

Damn...$68 seems kind of steep for something that costs 115 itself. I'm gonna try to make this a DIY project, anyone experience bad effects from not having it done professionally?

How to:

- Jack car up
- place jack stands
- bolt brackets to trailing arms
- bolt bar to brackets
- remove jack stands
- lower car
- test.

it's pretty straight-forward... I think installing headlamp bulbs requires more dexerity and skill than the rear anti-sway...considering there's no room to get the blasted bulbs out.

I have had no problems wwith it. No scrapes, and I have Maxspeeds, no squeaking, and no complaints whatsoever. ! I love it ! Leftcoast helped me install it. It took about 30 minutes with no jack.. Here are the pictures of it...

Forgive my Ignorance

Does it matter if you have a RSB without a FSTB? Do they work together or does it not matter at all.

It doesn't matter much, from what i've read the RSB actually gives you more of a noticeable difference in cornering than an FSTB.

Since i don't have an RSB at this point i can only vouch for the FSTB's performance.

Guys, when you get these in, PLEASE post how your installs went. I'd like to see what I'm getting myself into before I do this one. If I installed my FSTB, and my Berkencar intake hybrid, should I be able to do this RSB with no troubles?
