yes, yes, but it wont out accerate at GS430. but that just a stock one. get an intake and a 150shot of nos and stock Vettes wont be a problem.and the 2K1's arnt limited to power either, supercharging is an option as well. try using search if u need any other info. take ER and peace.

thats just at a few psi. those things are beasts. epecially the GS430. but like i mentioned earlier, thats nothin a little N20 wont take care of, even if its a S/C gs.

70-90 additional HP at the wheels on a GS400/430. That's SICK!!! That thing weighs a bunch and already runs mid-low 14s stock with a governed topend of 155mph.

Does Rod's brother (Stillen of course!) make an SC for our Max??

I was just answering his question....It was the brand new 220hp GS300. It actually kinda surprised me how well he kept up. It was a highway race. I'd say if you're in a 2K-2K1 auto you'd have a pretty good race with the new GS300.

GS300 VS. 2k-2k1 auto

I don't think we stand a chance with the GS300 on a highway race because they have some nice highway pull with their gearing, especially when they reach their 4th gear, their strongest gear.

Streetlight-to-streetlight, we will fair better because we are lighter so we can use the off-line TQ to our advantage. Just one thing when you race though, MANUAL SHIFT THE DANG THING to use the pull VQ-k potential.

I do think Lexus cut back HP for later GS300's, just for emissions reason from 225hp to 215hp or 220hp.

ES300, that person will hate to be seeing the Maxima's ugly tails, any year. After you reach the top of your first gear and into second, I'll gaurentee you'll walk on him 1-1.5 car lengths and continue to pull (If you manually shift)

IS300, people have raced this car and say they beat it but let me tell you my story when I lined up with an IS300.

Story...

I did the usual brake TQ, TCS off, manually shift the whole way and I had about 3/4 tank of gas left. We both line up at a stop sign on a country road where no one is around. Of course, we had a person to waive something on a poll so we know when to go. He got the jump, but he spun to much, still side-by-side until I start to pull away from him at the top of my first gear. Shifting into second gear, he catches up again until my revs are up, then we are side-by-side once again. Once I shift into 3rd gear, he starts to walk on me, but I gain it back once again until I shifted into 4th gear, thats when he just pulls on me. Really, I think the only reason why he was able to pull on me at those speeds was because of his gearing. Other than that, it seems like it comes down to the drivers race if you keep it below 130mph.

not a prob with any lexus except their 430s...
2002 on stick can keep up with the 400s/430s
2000s/2001s take basically all the 300s... IS300 is the closest race...
GS300s are slowwww they got 220hp and very heavy... but they do have rear wheel drive and 5gear autos...
i didnt have a chance to run a 2002 on stick with my GS but i would love to see the outcome... but lemme tell u... 155 in the GS is sweeetttt as helllll... feels like ur going 80...

yeah i wish. but imagine if the GS had a smaller pulley to play with! and yes if ur in a 2k2, ull have to be really faithful in the gas to keep up with w s/c lexo.
