Stillen rotors

Can the Stillen cross drilled rotors be used with the OEM pads or do I have to upgrade? My new wheels really show off the brakes particularly the rust on the rotors and I'm thinking about replacing them. Good/bad idea?

Thanks for the help.

it is suggested you change your pads at the same time. If you are going to spend ~400 on rotors, why not spend another 100 on new better pads?

There is a deal in the Group buy section for Xdrilled and dimpled rotors for 200 for all 4. if you are interested.

You should change the pads. When we tried it last weekend on my friends 2k2, we had some issues with the front brake set not working very well...until we changed the pads. It could have been we put the pads back in the caliper wrong to begin with, but I doubt it.

Yep change the pads with new rotors, you want a new pad with a new rotor. Might as well get the Stillen pads as they are higher performance than stock pads and only cost $48 anyway (fronts). You want to make sure you get pads that have no materials harder than the rotor as not to wear it out too fast (the rotor).
