2k2 or 97 max se??????

I currently have a 2k2 maxima se auto not fully loaded. I will have an opportunity to sell this car to my mom. My cousing is than going to sell her 97. It is a 97 black on black se, leather, fully loaded and Auto. she travels a lot and it is always garaged and never driven. That would explain why it has only 30k miles on it. I have been looking for a 4th gen with low miles and this is the best i can find. For the price i am paying on my 2k2 i was thinking of selling it and going with the 4th gen 97 max. I know compared to stock i will be losing lots of power. The part i like about it is that its cheaper insurance and a lot cheaper payment. If i do this i would SC it and mod it like crazy becauses of the money i am saving from not owning a 2k2. Just need some suggestion or comments on this, I am still unsure what to do. Also curiuos would a SC 97 max be as fast or faster than my 2k2 stock auto.

I dont think you'll be very satisified with a 97 after owning a 2k2. I hear ya on the lower payment though...

Keep your car, currently Ive got a 97 auto max and my 2k2 max. There is a big difference between these two cars, also since the 97 is older you will start having to fix things in it before you mod it. In the past 4 months Ive spent close to 1500 on just on just fixing things. Its all up to you but I would keep the 2k2.

weird, on my 95 that I use to have, (my aunt currently owns it), there has been no problems besides the typical things that need to be changed.. I.E. oil, air filter..

Just wondering....why would you sell it to save money, then turn right around and spend the money you save to make it as fast as the car that you have now? why not just keep the 2k2 since it is a newer better car in more ways than just being faster?
