I ordered plugs from Dave B. last week. He sent them 2nd day to IL. for $60.80 witch is not bad since I was quoted $93 from a local dealership.

Thanks again Dave.

Are you nice on the interstate? or are you "Mad Mattattax"?

I already know the answer, you wouldnt be alive if you were kind and thoughtful.. like dogs, Dallas drivers smell your fear and immediately move in for the kill.

You bet....I just ran three ladies off LBJ on the way back from saving three inner-city Dallas youths and building a shelter for a single mother with 17 kids.

let me add that dave asked me what mods i had to determine what plugs i needed. i'm not sure, but if you have more performance mods than a simple intake like i do, then the model/price may be different.
just a heads up.

and yeah, he said he's got like 200 of em in stock.

My only question:

Do platinum spark plugs really increase hp in maximas?

i'm hoping it does, but i honestly don't think so. i'm swapping out cuz i'm at 66000 miles and i'm overdue to replace them for regular maintenance. that, and a fuel injector cleaning should yield some modest mileage gains however.

Thanks for the kind words guys, I really appreciate them. On the subject of plug construction/heat range- All VQ Maximas have NGK platinum plugs, they last about 60K. We offer 3 heat ranges, the intake/y-pipe guys do well with the stock heat range, NOS and SC guys need a plug 1 or 2 steps colder, we stock all of them, and they are the same price.
Thanks!
