If you remove the kick panel on the passenger's side in the front, you'll see a metal bracket with a screw on the side of the car underneath the glove box where the passenger door attaches to the car. If you remove that screw and remove the unit (possibly a sensor or relay box), there is a clear hose hanging in the hole there. Does anyone know what this hose connects to, and what it's purpose is?

 

It terminates inside the cabin's interior, so I doubt that it's used for drainage of a liquid. Maybe someone like DaveB can help identify the part that I am talking about, and then give some description as to what it's used for, etc.
