Tenzo mean-6 rims

What do you guys think of these in 18X7.5? Anyone know if they're heavy or light? (I searched, found nothing.)

Wheelmax Tenzo-R Mean-6

I currently have Enkei RS6 18X7 in silver. I like them, but they're pretty common, so I'm looking for something new that's not too expensive (Volk LE37Ts will have to wait).

I hated the deep dish on my car. It makes the back end look weird to me for some reason....

I like the 6-spoke design and the gunmetal color on the Tenzos. At $220 each for the 18's, they're not cheap and not expensive. I didn't think about the deep dish part. Most people like deep dish (on some cars). You have any pics of deep dish rims on your car? Which deep dish rims did you have? The ADRs?

Yeah. Right now I have a slight dish with the C5s which I LOVE. But that wheel has a DEEP lip, which to me, looks awkward.

It looks cool from the side, but if you look at it from an angle (bottom pic) it looks toio far in.

Tight Rims.

I like those a lot man, good choice if you are going to get them. I would get the same rims if I had the funds right now. Lets see some pics when you get them on!!

I like the Tenzo's, real nice.

I was going to order from Wheelmax myself, their prices are hard to beat. I began wondering if it's too good to be true. Does anyone have experience with ordering frin them? Their stuff is brand new and not refurbished right?

No, but soon. I'm going to a shop to get the BOV installed and I'll check into my Y-pipe mod (cutting the pre-cats out of the stock Y-pipe and welding them onto the new Y-pipe). If it's not possible, then I'll just get the Y-pipe installed, then I'll do the cold start test at a local inspection shop (leave the car overnight, then run the emissions test on a cold start to see how bad emissions are).

Crap, I see what you mean. They do look kind of strange on the Maxima. Maybe with some lean ground effects like on the GT-R, it would look better.

I'll have to think about it. I can't really afford them right now either, so I'm just checking around.

From what I've seen for the Tenzo's, their prices are about the same as everywhere else. I haven't heard much about Wheelmax, never ordered rims through the mail before.

Wheelmax sells it as a package ONLY. You also have no choice about what tires you get- just the size. Usually Kuhmos. Also, I called on 6 different wheels and they were out of stock on 5 of them. The other one came with Kuhmos ONLY.

Kumhos are good tires for what they cost, or so a lot of people claim. That sucks that they're out of stock on a lot of stuff. i'll just wait until next spring, then get some Volks.

You can buy my busted-*** Maxxims. J/K Actually, they are going to look SWEET when we finally get finished painting them. We are just going to paint the whole wheel one color and ditch the two-tone crap.....

Volks are cool... Too pricey for me.

the thing i don't like about my dished rims is that since they have a lip that is not on the outer edge of the rim, it makes the rims look smaller. Check out my webpage. I think they make the rims look smaller than 18's. just my opinion though.

On some wheels, but not yours. Yours are sweet. The ones that look really small are the Konig Rated Rs... ones that cut back into the inside.....

Wow, you pic really shows how weird the deep dish looks on the Maxima. Dangit, I was set on those Tenzo mean-6s, until you and Asu174 showed me the pics of yours. Back to the wheel catalogs.

I currently have Enkei RS6 18X7 in silver. I like them, but they're pretty common, so I'm looking for something new that's not too expensive (Volk LE37Ts will have to wait).
