Trading a 2001 AE

I have had new car fever for several months and have test driven many cars. None of the ones I drove made a big impact on me.
I even considered an SUV for a change of pace, but they all seemed too boxy and dull. Maybe my Maxima has spoiled me?
It is my second Maxima, and I am beginning to think I cannot drive another vehicle and be pleased. Oh well, to my question, from what you guys may know, is it worth holding on to the AE for the 2004 model in the spring? Or should I look elsewhere?
Thanks

Is it a 5spd? If it is, and you want to stay with a manual tranny, you already know your choices are limited. I personally wouldn't get a 2002 or 2003 Maxima if you already have an AE. I infact prefer the looks of the AE over the new trim. Thats just me though. It you do want to trade now, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Perhaps an IS300, TL-S, or a slew of the other 30K entry level luxury cars would fit you.

What exactly do you expect to get if you satisfy this 'new car fever'? I mean, more speed, features, just the feeling of a new car, etc.?

If it is just the feeling, well, you will admittedly have to buy something new...if it a more tangible and specific need, why not mod the AE?

I know I plan on keeping mine for quite some time and if I get to the point of just HAVING to have more performance...mod city here I come...

If you think you want an SUV, check out the Nissan Murano, its definately different. I believe it will be out in August.
