emp! you got that prob too? do you have the 17" se wheels with the potenza ****s? they suck in the snow...im down here in syracuse,ny, but used to live about 20 min from kingston. in fact, used to drive through t-town going back to wisconsin via the 401. i used to work at a tire place, and the best snow tires out are the michelin pilot alpins, or the blizzak lm-22. getting a set soon or i wont have much of a max left! stay warm and keep out of the slushy **** on the side of the road!

actually...

realizing it's only a personal opinion..never the less..the best snows out there are Nokian Haakepelitta 1's. With studs in these, you get absolutely no spinning on acceleration, and they stop on a dime, both in snow and on ice

check em out at
http://www.nokiantires.com

i picked mine up in Pickering. They were $200.oo each, on my stock 16" alloy rims..but this is definately a "get what you pay for situation"...thats studded of course! they are T rated to 190 km/hr. I've only had them up to 180...no problem man. they run straight and hug the road, wet dry slush or ice

snow sux

I just drove for the first time in the snow in Connecticut. I have the SE with 17's the car didn't handle to bad once I got going but from a start they just spun. We all know we have the power to cut into traffic with just the smallest space, but when I went to pull out and the tires lite up under little pressure to the gas I spent the rest of the day driving like a granny.....
