Short shift for 2k2's yet.....?

Has anyone heard of a short shifter being on the market for the 2k2 6spd? I have been looking forever and I just figure that it would be too hard to make with the reverse chain and everything. Am I thinking the right thing or am I just stupid? Thanks guys....

i've looked everywhere and still cant find one

besides i doubt that one will be made... i always pop the center console up with my elbow during normal shifting and my gf thinks its hillarious that i have to keep pushing it back in every few minutes of driving.

if we do get a short shifter i would make the "elbow in the console" much more common, plus i dont think it would be very comfortable

just my .02

You need to get that checked out man, that is not supposed to be happening. But the shift does feel way too long for a "sports" car. I still love my Max anyway.

Try and get the shifter from a Spec V sentra. It has the same tranny and does have a pretty short throw to it. I have no idea how to get one, maybe see if your local dealer can order it.

that F***ing happened to me at the track and TOTALLY messed up my run, that console is too touchy. i don't hit it that often during normal driving but my friend's ALWAYS do but at the track it totally ruined one of my only two runs of that day.
