NY/CT/RI/MA - F/S or WTT: 04 Max SE aftermarket/stock parts!!

Hey guys the time has come to let the max go I'm having too many engine and tranny issues to put anymore work into it. Need suttin awd to get to work on my long commute in bad weather here in new England! Going FX35. With that said I'm parting out all the aftermarket parts on it. All the parts are still on the car, but I am going to begin the tear down next week. So I should be able to get some pics up very soon. I do not have some of the oem parts to replace back onto the car so I am also willing to do trades for stock parts. Local sale only plz! Some of the snaller parts i will be willing to ship (ex. Endlinks, traction rods, nwp Spacers & HFPC's)Here's a list of some of the stuff:

1.D2 coilovers (5k on them, have bnib front strut replacements $550 obo)
SOLD
2.Racingline Front strut bar - $80SOLD
3.Racingline V2 front and rear endlinks - $120 Sold
4.Racingline Stainless Steel Traction rods - $120SOLD
5.Racingline HFPC's 5spd auto - (trade for stock + $300)
6.Racingline y-pipe - (trade for stock $150)
7.Magnaflow 14807 dual tip mufflers - (trade for stock + $200)
8.Ebay catback exhaust - $100
9.Progress rear sway bar - $80 SOLD
10.Nismo front SE-R sway bar -$80SOLD
11.06+ rear bumper (from jsmith, brand new $80) - SOLD
12. NWP Spacers - $120
13. 10k front Xenon headlamps (trade for stock + $250)
15. Tinted tail lights -$60

If anyone is interested in doing a complete exhaust swap I'll do a package deal with the pre cats, y pipe, exhaust and mufflers for $600. The HFPC and y pipe alone are over 800 on the website. It sounds great and added lots of power for auto! It can be done at the shop I use here in CT. If anyone is interested plz pm me or for a quicker response call/txt me at 203-443-7313. My name is Adam. should have some pics up by next week.

im guessing all of his prices are "OBO". Who really pays the asking price these days. People usually list some of their prices a bit higher because they know they will be asked for "the best price".

Asking price - $20-$25 = best price usually..

true, but the OEM trade plus money thing is far beyond $20-25 hell its far beyond $100 bucks overpriced.

had i not put this poor man on blast i'd probably buy the end links, he put them up for a good deal if they are in good condition. so +1 for that, you people should be jumping on that one.
And the bumper, i'd jump on that too

Lol at critiquing his prices. And why are you including NEW OEM part prices? He isn't asking for new parts, just OEM parts. Those parts don't hold much value anyways (except maybe the pre-cats). Stock y-pipe? Stock mufflers? Good luck selling those lol. And regarding what you think used performance part prices should sell at, that's just your opinion. Let this man be, nothing seems outrageously unreasonable and like one51kmax said, people will low-ball anyways, especially here.

i will, i plan to delete the critiquing post as soon as he sees it or at the end of the day, whatever comes first. not trying to screw him over or anything. Hindsight i woulda PM'd him but it is what it is.

my biggest issue was the NWP spacers. Those are not something that hold any value at all. they are not worth any more than 50 bucks shipped. I know NWP and CXJ say you can "carefully" take it on and off a couple times, but they have a product to sell and although it may be possible, have ever tried removing RTV sealer? its impossible to do without causing damage to the spacers. I didn't put enough on the first time i installed it and it took me about 2 hours with solvent, and sand paper to clean it off, and it was only on the spacer for about an hour. i can't imagine what it would be like after it cures. I can just see some newbie getting all excited about them getting them in the mail and being discouraged from buying stuff in the future.

Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't been able to respond to anyone's posts or msg's. I been dealing with a death in the family, works been hectic, and now the max wants to give me issues! but that's life for ya. Most of the parts will be off next weekend. I've decided to keep some parts on the car, mainly the exhaust parts because I haven't been able to find anyone that is willing to trade hfpc's or a y pipe in my area. If their are any still interested that are in the area contact me. As far as my prices are concerned, I feel like they are reasonable. Most of the items are obo. Any classified add on this site usually is. Your always gonna have low ballers. But I did pay a lot of money for all this. I practically bought everything on the Racingline site, brand new, and I have only had them on a short period of time so I feel like they hold their value pretty good. The prices I have for the trades for stock parts are average considering the condition the aftermarket parts are in, but they are mainly priced to be negotiated. I really could care less what condition the oem parts that would be traded to me cuz the cars getting traded into the dealership. That's their prob to deal with after they take it! Lol

Also after doing some re-search from what twentyeggs mentioned I may hold onto the nwp spacers. Seems like the rtv will be pain in the a** to get off without damaging the spacers. If someone is really interested in them I'll take them off, but idk what you would wanna work out as far as getting the rtv off. It's on there pretty solid lol. I'll be checking the site often this week for msg's and posts. Sit tight for some pics this weekend. Thanks to everyone for their patience!

Picked up the max from the shop today. Coils, endlinks, traction rods & strut bar are off. Deal with the local unfortunately didn't fall thru so they are still available. I'll be taking some pics and posting them tomorrow at some point.
