Well they seem to be pleased with the '04 so far. They're usually pretty open about their tests (meaning they are more likely to tell you if they don't like something). Time will tell the tale...

This is straight out of the Edmunds' article...gotta love it!!

Now that the Maxima is a more upscale vehicle, educating the sales staff will be a huge part of its success. Nissan is upgrading its dealerships with what it calls "a more customer-friendly environment."

What are you happy about?

Thanx for the link. However, I did not like what they wrote about 5th generation: "...the Maxima seemed obsolete, overpriced and underwhelming when compared to the quick and spacious Altima..."

Well, I never liked the tail-light of my 02 SE. I hate the depreciation rate. 4-speed Auto and rear suspension are kind of outdated. It could be $2-3k less expensive. The paint....

But otherwise I love my car... "...obsolete and underwhelming..." don't sound right.

True because most of the other Publications/seem to like the outgoing 5th gen alot. Including Motor Trend,Car and Driver, Auto Week and Road and Track(2003 auto buying guide), and M/T even said "Nissan could have easily been forgiven for not messing with a good thing". Donot wory about what Edmunds says

they're nearly the same size and are almost identical in speed... I want to be a reviewer/critic!!! Apparently there are no pre-reqs, training, or intelligence required.

Where did you read that C&D liked it? In their roadtest of the 02/03, they said it's basically an aged design, just barely as quick as the TL-S. That's why car mags bug be, they lie when it pleases them.

Nice catch. This is very much needed at Nissan dealerships. Now all they have to do is extend this "customer-friendly environment" philosophy to their service departments
