We're expecting them to be $30,000 & up. Nissan is still being kinda tight lipped about the "exact" price. But I will know for sure tomorrow.

Are they going to be available everywhere?

I live in Jonesville, South Carolina, a good 200 miles away from Durham. I want to know if the new Max will be everywhere Mon, or are the just available in Durham.

I think I'll stop by my local Nissan dealer tomorrow just to see if they have any, and get a brochure.

I'll call Carmax this week

Or better yet, I'll just call Nissan's 1-800 number.

Post some pics PLEASE

Since you will be one of the first in the area to receieve New Maximas, why don't you post some pics tomorrow for us? We would apprciate it SO MUCH! Especially the SL model for ME.

Also, what's the deal with accessories. I might be interested in a base model SE with only the sunroof, the other options are just too expensive for me now.

Will the splash guards remain body-colored? Give us the down low on everything PLEASE!!!!!

Greetings Maxima lovers,

I bought my 5 Gen in Feb 2K at a good price. It was a great deal; good financing, good price, options I wanted, and just enough performance to get in a little trouble. I was a good value. I liked it so much, I bought the wife one too- I was sick of her driving mine.

After looking at the new 6 Gen at the auto show, I was on the fence. The pricing has definitely swayed my opinion. 30K is not acceptable; this is no longer a good value.

For that cash my next car will have a spinning blue propeller or have a “G” in the model name. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way.

It’s a shame, as the .Org has been a great source of info and enjoyment. These maxima fanatics deserve better.

I’m keeping my 5th Gen until the wheel bearings fail.

Instead of jumping to conclusions, you might want to check out this thread first.

04 Maxima brochures

We just received the 04 Maxima brochures. Man this car looks even better in the brochures than any of the pictures we've seen online. Check with your local dealer before they're gone. This car is going to be an instant hit!!

Did you get any Maximas in Nissansales?

I am just curious if you have any Maximas in yet, you said you'd have some by Monday, but I didn't hear from you here. Can you scan the pics, I bet my dealer won't have any brochures tomorrow.

Bochures?

I'm on Nissan mailing lists so they send me "brochures"? Actually they are these chumpy little "shift" postcards. Really bad. Kinda reminds me of when they pulled that Zen Ad campaign with the first Infiniti....some say they lost to Lexus based on that ad campaign. To boot, most of the Pics are burnt orange. Yuk. Their "Shift" web site sucks too.

Re: 04 maxima in dealer by 3-3-03

According to Nissan.com I can't they are not in dealers yet. I even checked this michael Jordan dealer in Durham NC and it says there are none, so what is the deal? I was gonna go drive one this weekend, but it sounds like they aren't in stock yet.

We just bought a car from this dealership last weekend. Had to go back there Wed afternoon, asked if they had any in the lot and the salesman said no. Said they should be in by the weekend, was looking forward to checking one out.

We just got an Burgundy SL today. $31,500 on the sticker. Nicely loaded with a Sky too. I like it even better now that I've seen it in person.

www.****smith.com is the best dealership to buy a car in the Carolinas. If you are willing to travel a little, Go to the DC/MD area. They are in a different zone from South East U.S, so their prices are lower then the Carolinas. ****smith has about 9-10 Maximas on their lot right now. Oh Yeah, I don't work for them
