2004 Maxima

My dealership got a few of them in today....very interesting. The 3.5 se had an armrest that went from the front seat to the back and a nice nav system. Looked almost too much like an altima with a different grill from the front and the back windows are strange...4th gens still look the best

lol that's the car my mom is pushing to buy. I like that CVT tranny too... i've never ridden in a car where u don't feel or hear the shifting. Sounds cool. The guy said it handles pretty good for a SUV too.

the murano is hot as far as features. Inside looks great, power is there but i hate that front grille, its kind of nasty IMO, all stretching across the face of the car

I dig the 6th gen interior, to me that's it's best asset.

My problem with the car is the price. it's the same price as the g35

SO:

FWD Performance vs RWD Performance
FWD Handling vs RWD Handling
Nissan Name vs Infiniti Name
Nissan Service vs Infiniti Service
Maxima resale vs G35 resale (hard to tell but I bet g35 will be more desired)
I also believe the g35 has a better warranty.

At any rate, the maxima is plagued with incredible competition, and it's sad that it's best competition is coming from itself. They really needed to do something to further set it apart from the G35.

Yes, 4th Gen styling still the best!!
I'll live without the Y2Kx goodies to keep the styling. Besides, just seen a Silver Y2K4 running around Pittsburgh - we thought it was a tricked Altima. Not that an Altima is bad, just I prefer a car that looks a bit more unique than it's siblings.
JMHO!
