New Galant a Maxima Clone

Saw this picture of the New Galant on C&D and it looks as if Mitsubishi copied the 2004 Maxima's front end.

I saw one of those yesterday. They're either trying to copy BMW or Nissan I guess.

That's interesting, but I think a lot of the cars are starting to look similar, now.

350Z/G35C
Lexus SC430
Chrysler Crossfire

2003 Altima
2003 Saturn Ion (?)

The tooth is nothing new for Mitsubishi...they've had it on a couple of their SUV's for a year or two now as well as cars like the Galant, Diamante (both of which had a much smaller tooth to be fair). I'd say its Nissan following Mitsu, not the other way around, but to be fair the introduction of the really sqaured off tooth like on the Endeavour and Murano was pretty close together...I think Mitsu had it first though.

Man, forget copying.... I wish they would literally come over to the Nissan factory, and take all those ugly 'teeth' for their cars. They can have them all.

PLEASE MITSU! Take our teeth!

YUP, i gotta agree on that but i'm sure the 04 Maxima is better in every other way. How could u compare the MitsuCHEAPi Galant with a Maxima. I think its in the same class as the Altima
