What color is your 2004

I just wanted to know what color Maxima's the 6th gen owners bought. Plus has anybody seen the Bronze Maxima in person? What are your impressions of that color?

I have the "spirited" bronze with "cafe latte" aka "blonde" or better yet, call it what it is..."beige" interior. The bronze is shown in the gallery of pics in the maxima section of nissan's website; it is also featured in a couple of pics in the broucure. I love the color, but it's not new. Altima has been using this color, as well, but don't know what they call it. It is the KY2 paint code.

The altima doesn't use the bronze color the 350Z does though.

One of the Nissan dealers here has a Black 2004 with orange interior so there are other choices...

Altima uses the bronze, only it's called "polished pewter". Do your homework.

Blue can get you the cafe latte interior (beige); we test drove a majestic blue with beige interior. Get a catalog or go design one on the Nissan web site; you'll see all your choices. There are more than black.

I got silver (wanted black, but everyone advised against it because it shows so much) with black interior.

Black is always a beautiful color on a car and especially so on the Max, but you chose wisely. I've had a black car (Maxima- 93 SE) and will never own another. I now own silver with black interior. The silver has to be one of the best colors for not showing dirt real bad. With black...well, it looked good for about 30 minutes after washing it. I think the bronze on the 04 is going to be good at hiding dirt, too. I hope so; the merlot on the 03 was about as bad as black!!

I've seen them all except The orange or beige

But I like Spirited Bronze the best, it looks VERY NICE on the new Maxima. I also like Red Opulence.

As far as Blue/Beige combo. The Cafe Latte interior is ONLY available on the SL model. You cannot get a Maxima SE with Cafe Latte if you choose Majestic Blue. I do believe you can get Frost though.

I liked the black interior the best, especially on the SL with the wood trim. It looked downright classy.

I would choose a mildly-loaded Maxima SE with Premium Audio, Roof, and Sensory Pkg.

Got the Liquid Silver with Frost interior. Looks nice. Was going to get the black but my 350Z was super black and there was some problems with the paint.

Onyx (had a black 98 and wanted another black one), Black leather interior.... Would have done frost, but couldn't wait on an order due to the more immediate need for transportation.

Red Opulence SL

I have Red Opulence SL, great color, shows dirt but not that bad, and it seems as if the birds are drawn to it, I hardly got droppings on my 00 champ max, but had my 04 for two weeks and have already had three occasions of bird dropping, still a nice sporty color.

I special ordered a black exterior black interior 2k4 about a week ago. They did not have the one I wanted in stock, said they are going to build it, but it may take 2-3 months

Oh well, I'll have it just in time for the summer
Black on black, elite package, VDC traction, everything - I can't wait.

Not a smart-aleck remark, but you should do your homework before you basically tell someone they are wrong, which I was NOT.

Black/Frost Leather???

I like Black exterior, but like Frost Leather. Anyone seen one?

The terry-cloth on the Frost seems to blend better than the Caffe-Latte.

We have the wood-tone trim in our SL. It is not genuine, but it is very convincing. Looks as good as the trim that is in the Lexus we traded, and that had the real deal. Since you haven't seen it, it is used judiciously, i.e., the trim on the door that is metallic looking is wood, the top of the center console is wood, and if you opt for elite, the top of that console is wood-tone. It is just enough to give the interior the right mix of woods and metals. It blends in very nice.

I think if you were to shop trims, it would be categorized as burled based on the pattern. It is not as dark and mottled as that which was used on the 5th gen GLE in 03. That, too was nice, but I prefer the look in the 6th.

Thanks for pointing that out. Nice Pics. That color combo seems to be a little scarce, but it is my favorite so far. I had Frost in my 2000 Max. Stays fairly cool in the winter. I note the new Frost has darker carpets....which will show dirt less also.

Mine's Liquid Silver with Black Leather.

SL... Auto (for business), no Journey package (Nav), no power rear shade (that's what tint is for), no Elite package, but everything else.

another Liquid Silver with Black Leather here - elite package (SE) (I just wanted the rear buckets, had to buy Nav system with them).
The bronze looks pretty good, as does the black, but i liked the silver/black package. Dealer didn't have any other exterior colors yet (blue or red).

I personally didn't like the wood trim, the model i tested had some loose trim on the shift bezel. But the silver interior with black leather was a good look.

The black carpets are gonna be a mother to keep clean, though, already scotched them.

I do like rollin' the 18s, though

Mine is Majestic Blue with Frost interior. It seems to stay looking great for about 24 hours after a cleaning, then the pollen film shows up.
