I just saw it watching 24 on fox. I think they had it in black cause it looks best with that busted grill. They also seemed to put some tints to give it the "stealthy" look. Just my opinion.

Nissan's coolest commercial had to be the sunset one where the guy races to catch the sunset again.

Awesome commercial as usual by Nissan. I was wondering when they'd finally show one with the Max.

Its kind of an Oxymoron. Everything has changed about it (bigger, badder, better) and yet nothing has change (still the greatest, affordable, 4 door sports car)

It's Zen, man!

(Geeze, I guess the Maxima has moved up-market: Nissan's using some of the stuff left over from the Infiniti "trees, wind, and rocks" advertising campaign from over ten years ago. What is old, is new again.

DANG- now they got ME doing it!!!! )

yeah, I was watching also watching "24"
Pretty tight commercial, but it can't beat the Sunset commercial.
Car looks pretty good in black, they had a black one at the dealership, looks nice in person too.

The car looks good in that commercial. I think the reason that it was driven 'crazy' was because the driver could not handle the huge amount of torque steer

Re: The First Commercial

I saw another commercial on FOXNEWS I think it was. Anyways, it had the Black Maxima sitting next to a curb, a guy drops a orange, reaches down next to the car to grab it, before he raises up he puts his hand on teh hood of the car to help himself up and all of a sudden he gets transfered itno a dream seeing the maxima accelerate hard, taking turns, shifting gears, and erything. He stops touching it and was freaked out and looks at the car then.

Oh and he looks at the orange which is all smashed in his left hand from the G's the Maxima put him through.

agreed

that is one of the coolest commercials,,

cooler than this current 04 commercial where dude bends over and touches 04 maxima and sees himself tearing *** around the city in it

I saw the one with the maxima parked by the curb, but the one I saw had a different ending. After the guy puts his hand on the car and sees this blury picture of a max being driven real hard, he steps back and is like WOW. Then the sees this poster with a hot chick on it and puts his hand on it to see if anything would happen.

Ive only seen one of the commercials which i recorded so that my grand-children may view it in the future, and drool over the thought of having a car powered on gasoline instead of beer cans banana peels and tissue paper(back to the future II remember ) well any way i saw it during 24 also and it just took me by suprise cause i didnt know they were on sale yet. I guess you 5th genners know how us 4th genners feel now.... being tossed into the darkness, replaced by a younger sexier version, only to be forgotten like memories of your first drive which was much to short.... much to short

Naw...any Max is still a Max, no matter how old. I sometimes miss my 3rd gen. Heck, I still like the looks of the 2nd!! I've still got my 02 SE and it will be around a while. I'm sure there will be a 7th gen before I'm ready to give that one up! but I will confess it is kind of neat having a 5th and a 6th to drive

The grill in the black Max is definetly not chrome.
I wish they made them body color.
