For those of you who have purchased one, is the torque steer as bad as the car mags are saying? I've read both Car and Driver and Road and Track's review of the car, and they both say due to the terrible torque steer, they can't recommend the car as an exciting performer. They say its a big, powerful crusier. Would you owners agree? Did you buy a powerful luxury cruiser, or the 6th gen 4Door Sports Car?

I think it's much more painful on cars without HLSD. I don't seem to notice much on mine. At least havn't felt the wheel jerk at all. My friend has an automatic SE and says it's pretty strong on his.Originally posted by Ute

I have an auto SE and I think it was worse on the Manual SE... but all in all, it isn't as bad as they make it out to be. It is there though.Originally posted by e_marston

I don't disagree with you statement except I have HLSD and it makes a huge difference. I tested it out today and there is very little torque steer for me on hard acceleration starting in first. I had one hand on the wheel and the other on the shift **** Originally posted by gmc74
