That's about what my payment is on the '03 Max SE I just bought a few weeks ago. Except I bought it instead of leasing. 60 months at 1.9% financing.

Why don't you just contact a dealer? Or check online. Go to www.edmunds.com and see if you can get some dealer internet quotes from there.

Then call another dealer and say "dealer 1 said he would give me this car for X amount, can you beat it?", then call another dealer and say "dealer 2 said he would give me this car for (X-500) can you beat it?" Make sure you start off at a realistic spot and start working your way down. Leases are a bit more tricky, but the same idea applies. I paid 29K and change for my 2004 SE w/Driver Preferred, sunroof, splash guards and mats. I don't know what that works out to be per month cause I traded in a truck worth $17K and change that was paid off.

You are way better off buying an 03 than leasing an 04.
