2002 Altima SE vs. 2004 Maxima

Alright Guy's, I just traded in the '02 Altima SE for the '04 Maxima....and here is the scoop: Both cars strong from the Stop sign, at 60 -70 mph the Maxima keeps pulling HARD right on up, where as the Altima tends to slack on this Power Band area. Done Proved it guy's, My buddy at work {still owns a '02 Altima SE} and I have done several late nite runs here in INDY, It's just the fact's.

The 3rd gear in the new 5AT is a lot shorter than the 3rd gear in the old 4AT, so that helps explain that. That still doesn't prove that the 04 will beat an 02/03, though. Take it to the track.

Best 02/03 auto times stock are 14.6-14.7 @ 92-93.

Altima SE driver here...

Thinking of upgrading to the 2K4 Maxima...what price difference were you guys looking at when you traded in your 2K2 SEs? I'd like to know what to expect before heading into the showrooms!

Thanks!
