oil

What kinda oil does our 04 maximas come with ? I want to put the same kind back in there when change the oil . Thanx guys

I believe Wayne wants to know the brand name that Nissan uses.

i.e. BMW uses Castrol Syntec and puts their label on it.

Do you know the brand name or would you rather bust *****?

realisticly...what nissan put in there is either nissan brand oil or some major brand. if you like dino oil then castol is the one to go with. it's shown in bill's oil chart that it performs as well as a decent syn oil.

Thanx guys ! Yeah , I was wondering about the brand they use . I looked in the manual but did not see it . I know 5w 30 is in it .
