These steering wheels are killing me

I love most of the new Nissan and Infiniti vehicles, but what possessed them to come up with such a stupid looking steering wheel? I am honestly directing my attention toward some other cars because I can't stand the look of the thing. It really is that bad. Those ***** on there look like the window controls from a 1980 Ford LTD!

Nissan designed the steering wheel to annoy you!

Seriously, I like the steering wheel better than the steering wheel I had in a 2001 BMW 330i.

To each their own.

I hate to ask how you know what window controls look like an 80' Ford LTD?

I'm not sure about the looks of the new steering wheel. But I do love that there is no spoke in the 4 o'clock to 5 o'clock positions. There is a very annoying spoke in that position on my '00, and it has caused me to consider having my middle three fingers on my right hand amputated.

Dang, I wish I had the wheel in my 02. I love driving the 04 and the steering wheel is part of the pleasure. I feel like the comparison b/w the wheel in my 02 to the 04 is that of a big buick to a sports car. Just my impression...I'm very happy with it, and the wheel mounted controls are easier to operate with the more pronounced switches. Sorry you are so averse. I thought they did a great job in the design.
