I'll defeintely keep this in mind. This will only be the second car I've ever bought so my salesmen experience is limited, but i'll be back to the baord soon with news of what color and how much!

Go through the Internet Manager ONLY! I'd never deal with floor salesman.
take gmc's advise... do not mention the military part until a price is negotiated, if possible.
I'm not sure, but using your service status to charge a higher price doesnt sound legal ??? If anything, this practice is a disgrace! Check with a lawyer, you may just receive a free one once this story makes it on the news. Imagine the negative publicity that would accompany this dealer and Nissan in general.

Not exactly anything new... lol
I am pretty sure you can get a better deal with a regular sales person, sure the bullsh!t quotient will be much higher, but the end result can be much better.
Don't let your guard down when you settle on the price. The finance guy will be a bigger snake than the salesman...

I went to Keras Nissan on Covington Pike, and talked to Justin Doss.He is the internet salesperson. He matched Dobbs price, and they have a better selection than Dobbs.
Never heard anything about the No-Sales tax for military. I am in the National Guard but I dont think that would have applied to me. If you go to Keras and talk to J. Doss tell him I sent you and he will send me a 100 Bucks if you buy a car......They are great peeps to deal with. Easy buying experience.....

There is only no sales tax for military if you register your car in a state that has no tax! Like Me, I have my cars registed in Alaska, Im a Alaskan resident and have a place up there! So when I buy a new car anywhere I tell them Im registering it in Alaska and Bam--no sales tax. I send all the paperwork to the DMV up there and get my new plates.

regular salesperson, i doubt it. much easier to get a better deal w/ internet manager. and much less stressful. these are my experiences.

It is much less stressful to go through the internet sales people, and sometimes I wonder if the extra stress was worth the $500 or $1000 I saved. I actually like the chase of trying to get the best price, it is a challenge and I thrive on that. I go car shopping with friends of mine to help them get better deals, I guess I am a masochist or something
