A Crazy Idea for the DVD Navigation System

If I talk off the DVDs and replace it with regular movie DVDs, what will happen with that?

Won't work - I believe it's a 2000 dollar aftermarket tweak to have that screen play dvd movies.

yeap wont work, you would have to get an aftermarket dvd player and then have a shop modify it so that they could hook up the A/M dvd player with the screen

Yes it will work. If you go to www.nav-tv.com there is an adaptor that you can buy that will integrate everything together. Just had it done, looks and sounds great.

I went to my car audio guy. The adaptor through nav-tv was $850, plus I had to buy a dvd player and then labor. In all it was $1500. The dealer did not charge me more for adaptor, $850 is through nav-tv.

The dvd player I bought was through Myron and Davis. The web page is www.myronanddavis.com It plays mp3's also. The model number is AD-270. Very nice player. The dvd player is installed in my back center console. Playback qaulity is good not great. Think more because of stock monitor. However, very cool to have it integrated into the car. Sound is good even through fm - modulator. No pictures yet.
