Roof Rack (Factory)

Roof Rack (Factory)
I just got a factory roof rack for my 04. It looks like reasonable quality. The only downside is there are no accessories for it yet. I really need something to take my kayak back and forth from home to cottage.
It looks pretty easy to install. I'm doing that tomorrow. Very very low profile so I would expect to have very little wind noise from it. Max capacity is 150lbs.
The top has a rubber insert all the way down the center to pad whatever is strapped to it. The allen bolts that put it together have a center pin so you need to use a special wrench to assemble it. Good security idea. Better than nothing.
If anyone has more questions about it, ask away.
Cheers,
CanadianMofo.

Hey someone has to do it. I may switch to a trailer later. I'm a sea kayak instructor in my spare time.
My only concern is that the kayak my not match the car very well. I may have to get it painted to match.![Wink](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
