SE and SL gear ratios

Since many people seem not to know the gear ratios for any of the trims, I thought I'd post a link that has them. The info is near the bottom.

Or, in ugly format here. Shows 5 spd SE, 6 spd SE, then 4 spd SL:

3.153 / 1.944 / 1.392 / 1.055 / 0.809 / 0.630
2.785 / 1.545 / 1.000 / 0.694
Type Automatic Manual Automatic
Reverse Gear Ratio 4.570 3.002 2.272
Final Drive Ratio 2.440 4.133 3.789
Limited Slip N/A Opt N/A
# Gears (excl Rev) 5 6 4

Would you look at that first gear in the 5spd? Then look at the FDR on the 6spd. If I'm interpreting the chart correctly, the first guy to stick the FDR from a 6spd manual into a 5spd automatic car wins!

Does anyone know if you can swap the final drive gears from a manual to an automatic? I think it is safe to say it hasn't been tried on an '04 yet but has anyone heard of it being done on previous generations? Any aftermarket sources for Maxima screws?

When I drove Camaros getting a gear came before headers, carb or cam.
A 4.6 first gear coupled to a 4.13 final should leave like a bottle rocket. Now there is a 'mod' I could get behind.
