hey guys, iam new to this site, and to maxima's in general, i just bought a new 2004 black on black se 4 seater, i get it in 3 weeks, pretty excited, just wanted to know if anyone knew where i could get the following

1. lowering springs
2. nismo grille
3. front lip

I don't belive any of those things are available yet. The springs are still in development at H&R I belive. The other two, never seen even a mock-up. What would lead you to believe they are available?

you think a lip for the g35 can me modified to fot the max??

 

I doubt it, seems like the max is a good bit wider than the g35 so it'd be too short. (someone correct me if I'm wrong) IMO, it wouldn't look right even if you did manage to get it on there.

 

Be patient 04, I know how you feel upgrades will be out soon, I'm in the same boat. What I got 1st, and you my want to consider this, was a "clear bra/ultra shield" paint protector film made by 3m. Especially on a black car, chips are more noticable. New paints are not as resistant to chips as before (no lead) in them. Congrats...You're gonna like this car! RC

 

yeah i get the car in 3 weeks, i got that 3m **** on the hood bumper and mirrors, iam really ****ed about the un-even wheel gap man, they better come out with some sort of full coilover setup with in the next month or so,,it drives me crazy

 

what did you pay and where could i get this clear bra?

 

its just 3m vinyl, iam sure tons of places in your area will do it, i dont know the price, i got them to throw it in when i bought it

Yeah I would like those aftermarket grills a whole lot more if they had the emblem on them too.

You can order the JMS Grille with a Nissan logo. I'm not sure if the curves of the other grilles are flat in the center to support a Nissan logo. I do know that the JMS Grille will support the logo. He does also sell them as well, or you can order the logo off the back of the Xterra.

 

ohhhh just talked to stillen, they have a lip coming out the end of the month, there being made now

 

yea i talked to them too, along with the lip, intake and exhaust are coming...can't wait
