Worthless dash storage...

Anyone else annoyed with that storage space in front of the shifter (or restrictor as it were...)? I have some CD jewel cases stored in there... any time I want to take one out, I have to turn on the car and move the damn shifter down to drive! And there's no good place to store my CD album...

Grrrr

Yeah. I agree. Door pockets are about the only place. You could take the bin out of the arm rest and make it deeper and store some there.

How do you have cd cases stored in there? No GPS Navigation? That's where the DVD player is stored, tucked away behind a piece of material so it's not at all noticeable, nice and hidden. So the only room I have in there is about 1.5 inches deep. Do you have the GPS and for some reason have way more space than me in there, or no GPS and that's why yours goes deeper?

Anyway - I assume they just had that area reserved for the DVD player (with it there is barely any room in there) so they pobably figured people wouldn't actually use it :P

I Agree! Storage space sucks. And what little there is, isn't designed well. Also, the center console armrest/storage is too far back for comfort.

I purchased a small cd case to stick in the door bin, but I would prefer hiding it.

Did you say armest/storage? There's a place there to store things?

If you open the armrest there is a false bottom that pulls up and you can store a ton in there.

The salesperson didn't show you? Figures, probably didn't even know it was there. I wish salesmen would actually have SOME knowledge about what they are selling...

I just have one of those soft cases that stores a ton of CDs and I leave it in the storage compartment between the two back seats... hmmm, well that would only work with the elite package... d'oh!

Have you taken out the insert in the center front armrest? It goes much deeper than that, and you could fit many CDs there...

There is also another charger located under that front armrest area. The idea was to put the charger under the false bottom plugged in so that it was hidden. Then there is a hole in the false removable bottom which you could run the wire through, therefore you always have a place to plug your phone into, but the charger would be hidden. So clever
