got gas?
We are having a major gas shortage here in Phoenix. There is a pipeline that brings gas from Tucson to Phoenix, it ruptured about a week or two ago and it is going to take another week to two weeks to get it fixed.
Last night I passed 6 gas stations that were out of gas before I found one that had it, and there was a 20 car line to get in (at 10:30pm). I brought my wifes car back at 1:30am and there was no line.
The cost of gas has risen to about $2.00/gallon for regular, and some places have been raping people by charging over $3/gallon... but they are getting slapped with fines from the state.

I just heard about that on the news here(I wouldnt be driving much), looks like it will be up to 2 weeks before its fixed I hear. So where are they shipping the gas from Tuscon,LA or SD, looks like pictures from the early 70's. Those prices are high I guess some of it is to make up for the trucking!

Try the 3 hour lineup at the one gas station that worked on Thursday 9pm in Toronto... there was 1 pair of streetlights with power, with one Husky gas station on the corner.. when I got there at first, about 20 cars..... when I got back with MY car to fill it up, 3 lanes filled for 2 blocks.
This was after the outage.
I think it's a little better now.. though the next day most stations were running out of gas same-day with 1-2 hour lineups..
