Did you think that VDC would stop the tires from making noise at all? If it did, that would mean the system would be working very aggressively, and completely hampering the performance of the car.
VDC is designed to only engage in emergency situations, yet not impact the day-to-day handling of the car. With that in mind, if you were to feel the VDC engaging on a regular basis, that would mean you were driving very recklessly.
VDC is like ABS -- not something you should rely on to save your a-s-s. Sophisticated safety features aren't a license to drive crazy. You need to plan ahead in your driving, so that YOU are always the one in control.
