anybody run into any good races?

street or track it doesnt matter.. but if street racing isnt condoned here than ofcourse track racing..

Spanked a yellow S-10 ext. cab newer style and got spanked by a 96 or so Camaro SS 6-spd. That's it so far, but the temp as of today is looking good Hasn't gotten above about 78 here all day, feels great to be able to sit outside and not break a sweat

 

what were your 1/4 times and trap speeds on those runs?

 

quick silver got a 15.2 on both runs in hot and humid weather... i got a 15.1 and 15.2 in hot and humid weather.. at 93.8 mph... both auto times

 

my 15.1 and 15.2 i had no traction and where horrible 60ft times 2.4 and a 2.5.. the auto 5spd will do 14s easy with traction and cooler weather

 

Ive raced a few cars in the max..

I killed a spec v with an intake with 2 people ridin with me, ran a 5 speed 5.0 and SLIGHTLY pulled. This 5.0s was quicker than ones i have ran in the past. Raced a new VW GTI off the line and killed that thing too. New celica GTS Gave up after 2nd grabbed and growled at him, and my friend has a 98 ext cab vortecv8 with/ intake,headers,exhaust, reprogrammer, possi trac, and a cooler thermo. I beat him by a few cars but when he ran the 100 shot he passed me pretty good! Thats about it I guess.

 

Heres anothe run at the track that was very fun!! Some local guy took this and somehow I stumbled upon it online.

 

thats an awesome pic i wish someone took a pic of me over takeing a z28 on top he took me until mid track he had a better launch but up top i pulled on him.. i have it on video though... it was a lt1 though not an ls1 but still

 

This weekend burnt two TLs, a Grand Prix, and some supposedly pumped up Camry....Ha!! Camry might as well not even pulled up to the line cause that's where I left him.

all for ****s 'n giggles... but they didn't beat me by as much as I thought... especially the crotchy... I caught up to him at around 120... hehe

 

your car doesn't trap 120 mph so their is no way you can hit 120 on a 1/4 mile track to catch him
