Frankencar Intake Installed

Don't have any dyno numbers, but the car sounds sweet and but dyno feels good as well. Install was a piece of cake and I have no knowledge on fixing cars. So far so good. And the mods begin.

i just hope the 2k4 maxima is not like the 350Z where u can mod it all u want but in one week the ECU will reset itself to factory settings, adapt to ur mods so all ur mods are worthless.

great news! and good to hear that a newbie can install it pretty much without much effort! Did you get the full kit or just the mid-pipe? K&N or Apexi? Can someone post here if they hear from the guys that they've started shipping these units? Hopefully they'll get some out today so that we dont lose two days of transit over the weekend! I guess just as long as I get mine by next Friday will be ok, since I wont install it till the weekend anyways.

I thought that wasn't proven?

Good to hear again! That's what I got, silver full kit with Apexi.... Did you need any parts that didn't come in the kit, or was everything you needed already included?

Everything was included and the packaging was perfect. Only one problem though. The filter is touching the metal from my fender so when I put the car in reverse it vibrates a little.. It's kind of annoying but I'll figure out something to put underneath.
