16" rims do not fit on the 6th gen
FYI, my dad has an '04 and he wanted to see if my 16" steels would fit on his car for winter rims. They do not fit, the smallest that will fit are 17".

Well, it may be a good thing that the brakes are big, it's bad in the sense that it means more money for larger winter rims and tires.
