Congrats on the car

I kinda beat on mine too at first Still running great, and I don't drive it hard all the time. No shimmy problem, no funny noises, 'cept for the sucking sound I get now when I pass someone

I know how hard it is to resist and beating was something i did here ant there before the break in period was reached. But its still running good so i guess i didnt do anything too bad.

Don't worry about it, these cars are meant for a little rough play right off the truck. Think of how many Accords and Camrys get POUNDED for the first 200 miles in test drives! There is no break in period necessary for the Max. I spank mine regularly and she begs for more. So maybe you'll get only 200k out of the engine instead of 202k. Just change your oil, you'll be fine. Switch to synthetic and a Mobil 1 filter at 10k if you really want to make it up to her. :

There is one in the bottom of your center console arm rest as well. The one on the side is for a cell phone charger, or something similar, that is why it has that little notch for the cord.

Glad you enjoy your new ride

I just ordered a longer cord for my detector. How easy do you think it would be to route a corde under the center console to the driver's side? sounds easy enough? any thoughts?

I didn't realize you were talking about a radar detector, if that is the case, cut the cord and hard wire it into the lights above the rear view mirror.

Don't worry about it. It is better to beat on it a bit at the start. You do NOT want to granny drive the car to break it in. That would cause problems later when you DO beat on it.
