Got my 04 Max last night!!!!!!!!!!

Damn what a well put together car...Black on black w/leather....Will break it in as manual says, easy for 1200 miles, but not above 4000 rpm's!! That will be a test...The paint is beautiful, wish GM could go watch how Nissan does it...The paint on my Z06 is very good, but still not the caliber of the Max...Now will wait for Ingen to come out with an intake for the 04, break it in and enjoy!!

Uh oh. < 4k RPMs for 1200 miles??? What page is that in the manual because I DEFINATELY missed that. Maybe they've revised it. Plus I was told at the dealership that there is zero breakin period necessary for this car. I let her rip after 100 miles. And when I mean rip, I mean zero to 110 with petal on metal. Hope I didn't ***** it up too much.

Anyone wanna buy a slightly used 04 Max? Heh heh.

In the owners manual under break in, it went over the 4000 rpm thing...I have a Canadian car so it said 2000 km which would be about 1200 miles...And yes, the idiot that sold me the car said don't worry about break in???? I dont think car dealerships require much more than grade 5 to sell cars!!! I do have some video on a digital camcorder of the Z doing a nice 2nd gear smoke show, need to find out how to get it on line...

True THAT! Besides, this dude has a Corvette as well. I doubt he'll flinch over a measly extra 5 HP that the TL has. AS IF!!!
