Wheel Locks

I am about to get my Maxima in and I was wondering. Should I get the wheel locks?

you could probably get aftermarket locks for cheaper-->$15...not much difference in price.

but if you are going to buy a lock for each bolt, then that might make a difference

Thanx. I noticed 5 nuts in each pack. Does that mean i have to buy 4 packs for 4 tires.

there are only 4 nuts in each pack...the center 'nut' is the key...most people only buy one set (one lock per wheel), but if you really want to make the thief work, buy one lock for each lug (5 packs)

one lock per wheel should be enough for stock rims...i can recall only one member having his stock rims stolen...

btw-i am not sure that nissan makes different patterns in the keys...so buying 5 packs from nissan might be worthless...instead you should buy one lock from nissan, and the other four from gorilla locks...

or 5 different brands (i think you get the point...)

---sorry for free advertising on the link...that is the only site i could find in less than 30 seconds that had pictures of the locks---

I was surprised to see that my dealer threw them in as part of the delivery process. Never even mentioned it to me.
