i just needa know the best way to get most of it out, (what kinda compound ) how to use it the best ect. ect. any help is appreciated, im so madddddddddd

it was my fault too, i was changing lanes slowly, blinker on, looked in mirror, turned head to look in blind spot, didnt see this car apparently and saw it the last second and turned back but i slightly brushed it. the gd lady coulda beeped at least! or slowed down, or not rode in my blind spot as she saw me changing lanes, or moved over JUST ONE INCH and all could have been avoided.

she kept driving like nothing happened too! better for my i guess since it was kina my fault, no real damage anyway... mmmmm im so mad anyway sorry just venting, i wanna kill myself now , i never hit/rubbed/scratched my car or anyone elses ever before in 4 years of driving...its so depressing

so yea , help me guys!! whats the best way to remove (im not getting the panel sprayed)

Its hard to tell from the pics.. IMO, it doesn't look terribly bad. If buffing will not completely remove/fix the scratches, I'm sure it would help considerably. . I would say take it to a detail shop for some buffing(if you're not inclined to do buffing yourself), in the meantime, here is a .LINK to some info regarding scratch removal.. hope this help & sorry bout the scratch, I feel your pain. . peace

Like Jay stated: "its hard to tell from the pics". I have buffed out many vehicles with worse damage than that - that when done you could hardly tell. Now, they were not black, that is always the worst color for dents and scratches. The big worry with buffing is using the lightest compound and rpm so you don't buff too much paint/clear-coat off. I use a professional buffer at 1500-2000 rpm. The 2 products I use are "3M Super Duty Rubbing Compound - part#051131-05954, and 3M Finesse-it II Finishing Material part# 051131-05928. With a factory paint job and black I would use only the Finesse-it compound. You may have to work at it more but it will work slower thus safer and not leave the bad swirl marks. If you have never done this before I would recommend having a good body man do it for you. May cost you a few bucks but keep you from buffing/burning into the primer - its quite easy to do, especially around those nice edges where your damage is... Pick a place that if it goes bad or still doesn't meet your desires that you could trust them to paint/blend the panel.

I do know your pain. About a month ago the wife came back from work with what looked like a key scratch the entire length of our $40K+ Suburban. I darn near threw-up. I wanted the security tapes at her place of work to hunt the ba$@#&d down.... Took me a few hours to calm down and some careful buffing but all was well afterwords.

Anyway, sorry for your mishap. On the bright side, we have all had close calls and came out much worse. You could have taken out the entire side and her car with it. Please don't take that personal, just that like my Sub, I later thought about how it could have been much worse - and felt better about it...

Good luck - you now have to live up to your screen name - and license plate... (Sorry to joke around during your time of grief)

it'll definitely buff out. it's not bad at all.

use that 3M stuff...Finess-it II (white paste)
follow it up with some dark color glaze...maybe run some final glaze or something and wax at the end.
