Quick ?

I just got my 04 max today and wow. It accelerates great and everything. But as I accelerate, the steering wheel starts to shake a little. Is that normal or is that the shimmy everyone is talking about?

Under light acceleration or under heavy foot to the floor acceleration?

Get your rotors checked... they are most likely warped, and the wheel balance could be off. I had both of those fixed, and I have no more shimmy.

I didn't notice at first, but mine has started to shimmy around 60mph. I'll have it look at when I take it in for the first scheduled service

Warped rotors will not cause shaking during accleration. Only during braking.
