The bulb numbers are all in the user manual.

Prepare to be quite entertained when you are removing the entire bumper to get to the headlamp assembly to change the bulb.

I didn't get the HID either. How much is the aftermarket kit, and what does it consist of.

contact Freddie aka. 97gles here on the Org. He sells IMO the best HID kits. The run around $380+ or so shipped when i last checked with him.

Make sure you get a good HID kit that installs well becuase you dont want to have any leakage or condensation that might cause bulbs to go. My advice get the infor on teh nissan part and then compare to the aftermarket available.

I've not been able to find any aftermarket headlight bulbs for the 04's yet. Only specs on the OEM bulbs from GE.

The factory bulb is a 9012. If thats the same as an H4 bulb I'd be really suprised. Good luck with your H4 kit. Let us know how the install goes.

Hey there Kzmaxima!

Interesting to see that you've replaced your fogs with PIAA Super Plasma H3's. I just bought a pair of the same PIAA's and want to swap out my fogs also. But I'm having the toughest time figuring out how to get at the fogs??

Would you be willing to give some instruction on how you got to the bulbs to swap 'em.

Thanks much

You might be able to get at the drivers side if you remove the battery and part of the intake.

The passengers side is a different matter. I can't get at it to change my DRL that burned out. The dealer says its about a 3 hour job. The entire bumper assembly has to be removed to get at the last bolt that holds the assembly in. I tried myself. I removed all the bolts I could around the headlight and it wouldn't budge.

Thanks Kzmaxima for the step-by-step.... but holy crap!, I never would have thought that it would have been designed such that the whole front fascia & bumper must be removed to change a bulb!
I guess this helps prevent theft of our HID's, but it certainly makes simple bulb replacement a 2 hour P.I.T.A.
