What Is The Best Bulb's For Fog Lamp Replacment?

Going to replace my h3 fog lamp bulb's and trying to pick the best to go with. Does anybody have ideal's on what brands and ect. Trying to bring it up to a closer color with the headlamps and get rid of the yellow color. I heard about Sylvania Silver Star has anyone tried them or anything else. Thanks

The Silver Stars are good bulbs, they will give you a bright white light with no hint of blue. I personally would go with PIAA Super Plasmas because I prefer the fogs to have a slight blue tint to better match the HID's.

I would aslo suggest the PIAA Super Plasmas. Has anybody worked out the easiest way to get in and change bulbs? I want to change my blinker bulb as well. It looks pretty involved. Any thoughts??

Unfortunately its gonna be a bear to get at them... Either must remove part of bumper, or go in through the wheel well. I haven't gotten up the ***** to attempt it yet, not sure of which method I'll use. Another deterrent - it's been darn cold here and my garage isn't big enough to work in.

What's the point of having a garage if it's not big enough to work in?

PIAA Super Plasmas It Is Then

Ok guys, Thanks for the help and I ordered a set of the PIAA Super Plasmas. They will be here next Tuesday. I have the service manual for the nissan and it says the front bumper must come off. I would be happy to email the instructions to anyone who needs them. I had already put a set of silverstars in the fog lamps but like you guys wasn't that happy with them they where still a little yellow in color. They also blew out after two months of usage. I don't know what happen that would cause both of them to do that. Oh well I will post and update when I get the PIAA Super Plasmas in the car of what I think about them. jdc1203

Garage

Not everyone has the money to have a huge *** garage or one that is attached the house to keep it somewhat heated.

My garage is big enough to work in, but its too freaking cold out there to screw around.

well my garage is small...and i use it so my HIDs don't get stolen

...so yeah there are reasons to use a garage even if it's not big enough to work in -- not everyone is a car enthusiast

Gentlemen, I have the service manual, section EI details the removal of light assy in order to get at ALL the bulbs. In PDF format, slightly larger than 1M in size. If U would like a copy let me know, will attach.

Wherever you get your forlamps replaced, remind them that they have to be aimed, I just got my car back after getting my left one replaced and it requires aiming like your head lights it was pointed toward the ground to the point you could not tell that it was even coming on in my garage!!
