I don't think stillen made that, I'm pretty sure it's a Trendz grille. Not really my cup of tea, I ordered the billet grille on e-bay, but if you do buy it I hope you enjoy it.

Yeah, no doubt....it's a Trenz grill and I'm not feeling it.

The best looking 04 grill, IMHO, is the factory one painted to match the car.

These aftermarket ones, especially shiny ones, make the front of the car look huge.

Black powder coat everything but the burger

Black powder coat everything but the burger. That would look very good.

I wonder how the plastic grille would hold up to the powder coat oven?

exactly. you could paint/powdercoat an aftermarket or the OEM grille gunmetal or black (or car's body color as stated earlier) and that would look really nice. the whole bling chrome thing is cheap-looking and gay, and, as someone said, makes the front look even larger -huge and goofy.

paint it.

Grille-Tech makes some good looking aftermarket grilles, similar to that on a CTS-V or XJR. Available in chrome or black. Not available yet for the '04 Maxima, but earlier generation parts are available.

I beg to differ w/ everyone hating on the "bling chrome" grilles. Yes, they do make the front end look a bit bulbous, and some do look a bit gawdy, such as the one for this thread above...but take a look @ my E&G Classics grille that I put on only a week after I bought the car. I haven't gotten a bad comment yet about it. In fact, everyone agrees that it makes (my car @ least) look pretty damn good. Of course, pics don't do it REAL justice, but you have to admit that it's a clean look. Well, check it out anyway and show me some love!

hofb99,

you are correct. that grille looks very nice. often times, i need to see the car to really "see" it. your 6th gen looks light years better and sweeter. i like.
