12v power outlet with key off?

Does anyone know how to re-wire the 12v power outlets so that they are live when the vehicle is shut off ??

I'd like my cell phone to charge up overnight.

I asked this some time back and could not get a reply. On all my other vehicles the plug in is hot all the time and I use it to charge the cell phone. Right now it goes thru a relay connected to the key. I guess you will just have to rewire it direct to the battery, just remember to put a inline fuse at the battery. No more than 20 amps and 10 would be better and don't worry about current draw. That is a big battery and the cell phone normaly shuts off after charge.

Yeah, the dealer wanted $100 to do the work for the outlet in the console.

I was thinking it might be possible to move the wire that feeds the fusebox for the lighter circuit to an always hot circuit. That way the whole circuit would be live and not a lot of extra wire would have to be put in. Hmmmmm.

Yeah, my dealer will do anything for a price. They had the remote starter installed, clear bra, and window tinting all before I picked it up. They said they will rewire the 12v outlet but I think $100 is too much to move a wire.

I think they fancy themselves a custom shop. They have window banners that say "Brasso Motosports".

Heck they even have a turbo sitting on display in the Parts department.
