Hey guys, does the Manual shift mode really do anything, or is more for fun? If I wanna race, do I use the shift mode or just punch it??

 

If you use the manual shift it will still shift at the same point the auto would...unfortunately the manual shift does not change the shift points. Possibly an ECU upgrade in the future may be able to change that, but I'm not sure if it's as simple as re-mapping a computer? Anyway, the manual shift is good if you're pulling next to a car on the roll because you can stay in the gear you want instead of flooring it and waiting for the trany to shift for you, but that's about the only help in a race.
