ran with 02 TL-s
I don't know if this post is in right forum...
since it's about 6th gen max, i guess it'll be alright.
my friend has 02 TL type-s with Injen cold air intake and header(dunno what brand). He ran 14.91 about an year ago when he had aem cold air intake only.
He asked me how fast my max is. so I said it's pretty powerful, but not
so fast. cuz I always felt like it's slower than I expected before I bought it
I expected a 14.8 sec car when I bought a max, but it felt like about 15.3
sec car, maybe slower.
anyways, we ran yesterday. and unexpectedly we're dead even.
my friend has slow reaction time. so...off the line, i was about a 1/3 of
a car ahead....till 100 mph i was still ahead of him about 1/3 of a car. i was
really impressed.
I used to have 99 prelude with sportshift. when it was in manual mode, it didn't
shift automatically unless i shift. but... maxima, it shifts automatically about
200~300 rpm before the redline...why sportshift then?
