Mirror Damage

My Mom leased herself a 2004 maxima sl with the works. It has power folding mirrors. My 96 maxima as some of you might know is currently under the knife. Last night I took out the 04 and while it was parked broke the mirror right out of its place. The mirror itself is seems to be undamaged but it was ripped out from the car. When I came back it was just dangling there. Anyone know how much something like that would cost to repair?

Someone else on this (or another Maxima) forum had the exact same thing happen awhile back. I can't remember for sure, but I think they were looking at over $200 installed. Maybe you can find that thread if you search on "mirror" (for some unknown reason it won't let me search).

thanks guys. But I think the mirror itself is intact. Only the plastic piece cracked. I tried to see whether the mirrors still fold in and out with the controller and they do. I hope this will be only a welding job and I won't need another mirror. Some people just amaze me.
