OK, a 6th Gen complaint: the dipstick.

I've found something I don't like about the '04 Max .... the dang dipstick. Back in the good ol' days, dipsticks were made of a black, matte-finish metal that allowed the oil level to easily be seen. But then they mysteriously changed to bright silvery metal, and you can't tell where the oil level falls.

I got my oil changed today, and as usual, I checked the level after I got home and let everything settle down. I'll bet I stabbed that stick in there and pulled it out 20 times, and I'm still not 100% sure I know if it's full. I can't read the damn oil level on that shiny dipstick!

Give us back the dark, matte-finish sticks! Who's with me!?!?
