got 04 radiant amber loaner

my 2k3 is really sick and is at the dealer...most likely after its fixed will be traded in for another car but my cousin is the finance manager at nissan and he was shocked i couldnt get a loaner so he got the keys to a brand new 04 max and told me to use it as a loaner as long as i want. still got dealer tags on it...but man this thing is sooo amazin compared to the 2003.
Handling is great compared to the sorry a$$ handlin on the 5th gens
Interior is far more superior to the 5th gen...i dont care wut other 5th gens say its all bout pride but my 2k3 has been givin me alot of problems and this 2k4 is just brightenin up my day
he said once my car is fixed this 2k4 should have enough miles on it for him to sell it to me a cheaper cost but new car financing.
So the 2k3 is out as soon as its done and this lovely car will be mine.

anything i should know before i make this trade final??? any warnings? i love the 5speed automatic, feels so much quicker to my slippin 4speed auto on the 2k3

Wow, what a cool opportunity! The 04s have really started growing on me and I have been toying with the idea of maybe going for a test ride in one....just for kicks and giggles of course BTW, is it unrealistic to hope to get an 04 as a loaner if our (02 or 03's) need to go in the shop for anything substantial? I've heard of Sentras and stuff but is it out of line or anything to be a little more picky and request only a new Max, seeing as its what we're accustomed to? I just hate coming across as a bit(hy customer or hard to work with. Maybe it just takes knowing the right someone in the dealership...I dunno.

Anyways, sorry so long but would like to ask that so far what do you think is the most dramatic improvement from 03 to 04s? Does it still retain a sporty feel? And any head turning factor?

Im not shocked at the lac kof response to this thread because it border lines one of those 5th gen against 6th gen things, it should be locked before that happens.

honestly from my own opinioin..suspension feels sprotier then the 5th gen, even tho the car feels bigger and bulkier. cuz of the size of the car it feels solid, but havin a lowered 5th gen to goin to stock 6th gen the ride is a bit higher off the ground but that can be fixed..

I think this thread has been fine. I have not noticed any 5th gen/6th gen bantering, nor am I trying to cause any.

Gooey: thanks for the input. Kind of nice to hear your reactions/opinions going directly from one to the other. Sounds pretty nice!
