Chaps my hide too as I just burned a hole in the roof material by the window trying to eject a butt at 95 mph coming home from Vegas!

I think this is a safety and environmental issue that needs to be resolved! I just want a stupid ashtray.

And save your breath about smoking in the Max...

 

The first thing I asked was about a smokers package, but they don't have one, so I ripe up butts out the window and cron is a empty cup in the holder. Spludge

 

Nissan is against smoking. Literally. If you look in the 350z's check where the lighter is. Not convenient for smokers at all.

 

Good. It's a filthy stinking habit. After a hardcore smoker has has it, nobody really wants their smelly tar stained car full of burn marks in the upolstery. Not even other smokers.

 

Wow, its hard to believe that the 6th gen doesn't come with an ashtray. The 4th gen has an ashtray and lighter perfectly located .

And I hate it when people tell me not to smoke in my car; I paid thousands for it and i'll be damned of someone who is just getting a ride has the nerve to tell me to not smoke in the car.


As long as you keep the window cracked and clean the interior every once in a while if you smoke in the car; most people will never be able to tell it was smoked in. My last car I put fabric softeners all over the place and didn't smoke in it for 1 week before I sold it. After that week the smell was gone.

 

I Miss my ashtray!!!!!! Evan though I don't smoke, It was my trash barrel for my straw and gum wrappers. I hate using the cup holder for my wrappers now. Grrrrrrrr
